They were fitted with Brill 21E trucks and the bodies rebuilt by Brighton Corporation Tramways 1908 – 1913; all had 'reversed stairs'. Photo Caption The details of the Peckham truck can be seen clearly on this shot of class A car no.27. They were not a success on the hilly routes of Brighton and were quickly changed for the world famous Brill 21E.
