O50D Fleet 40 Registration Chassis Number Body Number Status Withdrawn Disposed 1926 Initial Disposal Extra Information These cars were 29 feet long and 6 feet wide. They were fitted with Brill 21E trucks and the bodies rebuilt by Brighton Corporation Tramways 1908 - 1913; all had 'reversed stairs'. Fitted with Dick Kerr 40h.p. motors in 1919. Photo Caption Oh dear! Class A no.40 has come to grief along Lewes Road. These trams were very solidly built so whatever it hit would have come off worse.
