Extra Information Repainted into Brighton & Hove Metro Line 49 livery at Hampshire Body & Paint in August 1997 then to BH2 red/cream in July 1998. This was technically the last bus purchased by, what had been Brighton Corporation Transport Department. This was also the last of the SLF Darts to be repainted into BH3 livery in May 2006. Withdrawn in September 2011 and stored in Newhaven Port 'new' yard. Sold to a new company 'Bristol Greyhound' in June 2012. Repainted into Tilling dp green/cream livery with Bristol Greyhound in script on sides and front. Following objections this company is now trading as Pier Buses. Withdrawn 4/14. Scrapped by UK Bus Dismantlers on 10/11/14. The last of Brighton Buses.
Photo Caption Mervyn Stedman photographed SLF Dart no.215 when it was almost new at the junction of Portland Road and Sackville Road. It was on its way to Moulescombe despite saying Portsalde on the destination.
